AFL-CIO Endorses Fresno County Supervisor Brian Pacheco

Over 2.3 million workers, including over 100,000 in the North Valley, unite behind Pacheco’s District 27 campaign

The California Federation of Labor Unions (CFLU), has officially endorsed Fresno County Supervisor Brian Pacheco in his race for Assembly District 27.

The California Federation of Labor Unions is made up of more than 1,300 unions, representing 2.3 million union members in manufacturing, retail, construction, hospitality, public sector, health care, entertainment and other industries.

The California Federation of Labor Unions marks a defining moment in this campaign, highlighting strong support from the labor movement and sending a message to the working families in the Central Valley that Brian Pacheco will fight for them. This endorsement is the latest in a wave of high-profile support that has firmly positioned Pacheco as the frontrunner in this race. From the Democratic Party to Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria, Congressman Adam Gray, and leaders in business, agriculture, and law enforcement.

“I’m grateful for the support from working California families and the California Federation of Labor Unions,” said Pacheco. "Their commitment to advancing and safeguarding workers' rights across the state strengthens our communities in meaningful ways. I look forward to partnering with them in Sacramento.”

Fresno County Supervisor Brian Pacheco has spent decades delivering for Central Valley communities, from the Kerman Unified School District Board to leadership roles at Community Regional Medical Center. A respected agricultural leader and former president of the Fresno County Farm Bureau, he has a strong record of supporting working families and strengthening the Valley’s economy.
