100,000 Workers In North Valley Endorse Pacheco for State Assembly District 27

The North Valley Labor Federation, AFL-CIO (NVLF), the region’s central labor council representing working people across the Valley and the North San Joaquin region officially announced their endorsement of Fresno County Supervisor Brian Pacheco in his race for Assembly District 27. 

NVLF’s endorsement recognizes Pacheco’s track record of local leadership and his long-standing work with union members and working families. As a Fresno County Supervisor and fourth-generation dairyman, Pacheco has emphasized a practical approach to strengthening public services, protecting good jobs, and ensuring working people can keep up with the rising cost of living.

“Brian Pacheco understands what it takes to earn a living in the Valley, and he’s shown through his public service that he can work as a true partner with labor,” said Will Kelly, Executive Director of the North Valley Labor Federation. “Working families want someone in Sacramento who understands the real pressures they’re under. We look forward to working with Brian as a partner who will stand up for good jobs and the dignity of work.

“I’m grateful for the North Valley Labor Federation’s endorsement,” said Supervisor Pacheco. “I’ve spent my life in agriculture and in public service and in both, I’ve learned the same lesson; when you respect workers and you deal straight, you get better results. As a County Supervisor, I’ve worked with labor to keep services stable and get agreements done, and I’ll bring that same approach to Sacramento.”

The NVLF endorsement adds to growing momentum behind Pacheco’s campaign. Pacheco has earned the support of Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas, Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria, and Congressmen Jim Costa and Adam Gray, along with key labor endorsements including the Fresno Deputy Sheriff’s Association and the California Federation of Labor Unions.
